美國研究生申請(qǐng)分為提前申請(qǐng)和常規(guī)申請(qǐng),對(duì)應(yīng)得錄取時(shí)間也有區(qū)別:
一、提前申請(qǐng)時(shí)間
提前申請(qǐng)?jiān)?1月截止,結(jié)果一般會(huì)在12月和1月出來,提前申請(qǐng)專業(yè)提前享受到學(xué)校得錄取待遇,但也意味著如果學(xué)生申請(qǐng)了某個(gè)學(xué)校得提前申請(qǐng),就不能再接受其他學(xué)校得錄取。提前申請(qǐng)得優(yōu)勢(shì)是錄取標(biāo)準(zhǔn)要比常規(guī)申請(qǐng)低一些,尤其是名校,標(biāo)準(zhǔn)差別很明顯,但是由于錄取得排他性,很多學(xué)生并不愿意選擇提前申請(qǐng)。
二、常規(guī)申請(qǐng)時(shí)間
常規(guī)申請(qǐng)得學(xué)生,截止日期一般在12月底1月初,最快拿到錄取得時(shí)間是次年得2月,但大部分拿到錄取集中在3月,還有一部分4月會(huì)發(fā)放。還有一些排名比較靠后得學(xué)校,本身申請(qǐng)截止日期就很晚,有得3、4月依然專業(yè)申請(qǐng),這些學(xué)校拿到錄取得時(shí)間會(huì)更晚,6月、7月都有專家,當(dāng)然開學(xué)時(shí)間也會(huì)隨著往后延遲。而滾動(dòng)錄取得學(xué)校,不存在申請(qǐng)截止日期和錄取時(shí)間得說法,任何時(shí)間都專業(yè)申請(qǐng)和錄取。
三、錄取時(shí)間按可以有所區(qū)別
像MBA、MSF、MAcc,大多數(shù)學(xué)校分為幾輪審理期,第壹輪得申請(qǐng)截止日期一般在10月中旬,專家11月份到12月份就有錄取結(jié)果了,比如說有學(xué)生在11月中旬得時(shí)候就順利拿到了杜克大學(xué)管理碩士得錄取,羅徹斯特大學(xué)金融數(shù)學(xué)碩士得錄取,圣路易斯華盛頓大學(xué)會(huì)計(jì)碩士得錄取@。當(dāng)然,也有部分學(xué)校結(jié)果出來得比較晚,很典型得就是UT Austin得會(huì)計(jì)碩士,預(yù)計(jì)3月份中旬左右才有第壹結(jié)果出來。

Hello Student
Now that Graduate Admissions has received your application for admission to the University of Georgia, we would like you to be familiar with the review process. Admission to the UGA Graduate School is a collaborative process with academic records and official test scores being reviewed first in the Graduate Admissions Office and then by the academic department and supplemental, departmental requirements reviewed only by faculty in the department.
1. An admissions counselor in Graduate Admissions will review your application for initial completeness and send you an email message that provides information on the status of your application. Depending upon the time of the year and how busy the admissions office, the initial review may take from 5 - 21 days from the date that you received our application confirmation message.
2. Your material in the Graduate School will be copied and sent to the academic department to which you applied. Please review your department's website for specific information on application requirements. (important note: Letters of recommendation are generally not required for non-degree status. We will not email your recommenders to complete electronic letters. If your department requires letters for non-degree status, please contact the department directly to inquire about alternate means of submitting letters of recommendation to that department.)
3. The academic department has access to the online application information; so you may receive correspondence from them before Graduate Admissions has had an opportunity to set up and review your application. Do not worry if you hear from the department before you hear from Graduate Admissions!
4. Each department establishes its own timeline and procedures for making admissions recommendations. once departments forward their recommendation to the Graduate Admissions Office, a final review is made. The admissions decision is made by the Graduate School and will be mailed to you in an official letter.
5. This information should facilitate completion of your application.

6. Finally, your application is valid for only the semester for which you are applying. If you need to change the expected semester of enrollment, please contact Graduate Admissions before the original expected semester begins!
